The retro co. Branding

The Project:

The owners of a vintage resale business in Texarkana, Texas (specifically, owners of a booth in an antique mall) reached out to me to refresh their logo. They specialize in all things midcentury modern and 1960s. As an avid thrifter myself, I was stoked to get to work on this project with retro flair!

The Process:

We started by researching the design trends of the 1960s- “Googie” architecture was huge, and there were oranges, greens, and organic shapes everywhere! I found a typeface that I think matched the vibe perfectly, and then customized it by hand to make it one-of-a-kind. The result is this funky, fun brand kit that’s playful, yet polished!
