The Project:
Inspired by my senior pittie Kashy, who’s blind, I created this passion project for a fictional coffee shop called Blind Dog Coffee. I wanted to capture Kashy’s playful, resilient spirit while incorporating fun, hand-drawn elements to the brand.
The Process:
I always like to start with a round of sketching to get the ideas flowing— then, we move into Adobe Illustrator to add textures and vectorize the logos. I experimented with a unique, muted-yet-bold color palette, paired with a simple sans-serif font. The simple typeface plays off the more detailed dog logo, creating a fun and refined balance.
